Main limitation that glass has is that is fragile. Vinalsa use a thermic tempering process that increases its mechanical resistance to 400/500 % and its thermic resistance increases from 60°C to 240° C. It is a safe glass.
Thermic tempering consists in increasing the glass temperature up to 650° C followed by a cooling process using controlled cold air blown on both faces.
The tempered glass or toughened glass is considered a safe glass and it is recommended to use it in all susceptible areas where people can be at risk or places that require a high mechanical and thermic resistance.
